The Quest Barnes and Noble Bookfair!

Last Friday was a lot of fun!

We would like to thank all of the Quest families that joined us in the store and all of those that are continuing to participate and support us, by shopping online through November 24th.

In the Children's area, the students created small woodworking projects with Margery.

Denise hosted a scavenger hunt that had the children exploring all areas throughout the store with special prizes at the end. Barnes and Noble customers enjoyed the Quest Art Gallery set up in the cafe and everyone was entertained by the student performances.

What's the best way to find out if Quest is closed or has a delay due to weather?

In general, Quest follows the North Kingston school closing and delays. To find out if North Kingston and Quest have a change in schedule due to weather, check out the weather closings on the local broadcast stations. They all share the same servcie now so you can choose your favorite. Go to www.Turnto10.com, www.WPRI.com or www.ABC6.com for the latest listings of closings.

As part of our Barnes and Noble Book Fair, Quest families and friends can order specialty cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Factory to be delivered to the Book Fair in time for Thanksgiving and the rest of the holiday season! Quest receives a percentage of every cheesecake ordered!

UE Day of the Dead Celebration

To commemorate The Day of the Dead on Nov. 2nd, the Upper Elementary students celebrated with activities including making calavera (skull in spanish) necklaces out of clay. They learned that The Day of the Dead is a special day where people in Mexico celebrate and honor lost loved ones. They believe that the spirits of their lost loves ones visit earth on this day and they welcome them with festivities, food and prayer.

Applebee's Pajama Pancake Breakfast 2010-2011

We had a great turn-out for our second Applebee's Pajama Pancake Breakfast. The pancakes were plentiful and O.J. was flowing!
